“We were contracted to do a landscape install; on a new construction home; in a new development being build out in Ravensdale. As you can see by the pictures, there was nothing but dirt & rock for us to start with. We brought in over 200 yards of topsoil, installed an irrigation system, installed plantings, bark mulch, & hydroseeded lawn areas.”

We started off with some clearing work as this is a brand new development and there was brush/trees/ & other debris everywhere. We installed a new irrigation system for all lawn areas & installed drip for all planting bed areas. Because this is a new construction home we had to bring in about 250 yards of new topsoil to be spread for the lawn areas & around the home. We installed the topsoil approximately 4’’ in depth.

After the topsoil was spread & we created where the planting beds would be located we brought in new plantings. That included the labor to install the plantings, staking of trees, & fertilizing of all new plantings. We also brought in approximately 120 yards of new bark mulch.

This customer had us install LED low voltage lighting as well. LED low voltage lighting is a great way to showcase your landscape at night. Although LED lights are more expensive to buy, in the long run, they are worth it.

This is because they have a much longer life than halogen bulbs at anywhere from 30,000 to 50,000 hours. You can rest assured that your landscape lighting will burn bright for much longer than one year. You can expect to get at least a good 10 years out of your LED lights, depending on use.

The final part of the project was to have the hydroseed installed for the lawn areas. After the project was completed a final walk-thru of the project was done to insure our customer was happy with the work!
